Editorial policy
FastWindowTimer keeps fasting content sourced, cautious, and clear about its limits. This page explains how we research, write, review, correct, and attribute content.
How we source content
We distinguish research papers, clinical guidance and dietary explainers. Citations on item, protocol and guide pages state which point they support and what they do not establish. A working link is not proof of every sentence. Product quantities come from the actual label; hypothetical arithmetic examples are identified.
Review cadence
Content updated records a substantive edit. Source checked records a citation check, not a clinical review. We correct known errors and revisit evidence when relevant information changes. We do not claim that an annual medical review or native-language human review has happened.
Authorship and medical review
We do not imply that content has been medically reviewed by a named reviewer. FastWindowTimer is responsible for the material and uses automated assistance for drafting, checking and translation. Citing a researcher or institution does not mean they endorse this site.
Corrections
Contact us with the page URL, the passage and supporting evidence. We assess the issue, correct supported errors and update the content date. Correction record, 2026-09-05: removed blanket insulin and autophagy assurances, added item-specific conditions and source limits, corrected the OMAD step-back advice, and clarified illustrative timer phases. Earlier publication dates remain visible on guides.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are independent of any advertising or affiliate arrangements. If ads or affiliate links are added in future, they will be clearly disclosed and will not influence which content is published or how it is framed.
