Your privacy is straightforward with FastWindowTimer: your fasting data stays on your device. There are no accounts, no server-side fasting history, and no email list.
What data we collect
We do not collect account data, payment data, email addresses, or contact details through the product. Your fasting history — start times, protocol, streak — is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device and is never transmitted to a FastWindowTimer server.
Local storage
FastWindowTimer uses your browser's local storage to persist your timer state and fasting history between sessions. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for FastWindowTimer.com.
Analytics
FastWindowTimer may use privacy-respecting analytics and metrics tools, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible if enabled, to understand how the site is used. These tools are for aggregate product and performance insight, not for storing your fasting history.
Technical data
Analytics, metrics, and security logs may include device type, browser, language, approximate location, pages visited, interaction events, performance information, and technical logs. This helps us understand behavior without creating user accounts.
How we use this data
Technical data is used for analytics, security, improving the site experience, performance, service quality, and operational stability. We do not sell fasting history or use it for personal health profiling.
Advertising and affiliates
FastWindowTimer has no advertising or affiliate links at this time. If ads or affiliate links are added in future, we will update this policy, disclose the arrangement clearly, and — where required by law — implement a compliant consent flow before any ad loads.
